It’s Summertime again, and y’all know what that means: It’s time for BAND CAMP! Last year was such a success that we decided we’re gonna rock out and make this an annual event. Registration for the 2026 camp is officially live, so now is the time to send in those applications! Galveston Musical Youth empowers and uplifts young people through the transformative power of music. We strive to create a nurturing environment where children can explore their musical interests, develop their skills, and build lasting connections within the community.
By offering high-quality FREE music education, hosting inclusive events, and providing valuable resources, we aim to foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration in every child. Our commitment is to make music accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to experience the joy and growth that comes from being part of a musical community.
About Us
Our founder, Jeb Adame, has had a passion for music ever since he can remember. Best known for his work as the brains behind US BACKLINE, he has been a successful professional in the music and entertainment business for over a decade. He believes that nurturing creative minds can lead to a better future for all of us, and is excited to share his knowledge and experience with a new generation of talented musicians!
Last year, we launched our very first FREE musical summer camp for kids in Galveston- and the response was beyond anything we could’ve imagined!
With over 200 applicants and only 50 available spots to fill, it was clear how much talent and passion exists within our community’s aspiring young musicians.
